I’ve been a London Hotel Manager, Steward & Security Guard at the Royal Albert Hall, Scenic Artist and Gardener! Performed for UK Royalty, International Royalty, dignitaries and Celebrities. My Podcasts will initially deal with Weddings, Corporate Events and answering any questions you may have about both. I’ll be informally interviewing suppliers, venues, Brides & Grooms to get their take on things, all with a big dose of Fun! Once I’ve got my teeth into this Pod thing I’ll look to regaling you with some of my experiences and chatting to some of the people I’ve worked with over the years. After all that (if you like me!?) At wedding fayres when couples come up to me, they invariably ask the same question; “What do you do?” Now, get the picture, I’m standing there in white ties and tales with a banner behind me saying “Mark Lanahan Master of Ceremonies”. So, sometimes, when I’m feeling naughty, I say “Oh! I mainly do mid ceremony naked fire breathing, juggling kittens to 80's power ballads.” just to see their faces. 99% of the time, mainly because Jane gives me a glare, I say “I’m the 1st thing couples should think of but usually it is the last to be considered, when the budget has been spent.”
